Are you tired of your dog crashing your Zoom meetings?

Remember that good old saying that a tired dog is a happy dog? Well, a tired dog also equals a happier pawrent.

Today, I want to introduce you to Krystal Swiderski, your local dog walker and pet sitter. Just like childcare, people need someone dependable to care for their pets. Finding someone reliable and trustworthy sometimes can be difficult (let’s be honest, I am more careful about choosing who is going to care for my dogs than my own doctors, and I would guess you are the same way). Hiring a business that is dedicated to such service, has plenty of experience with a variety of pets, and insured, is a good way to make sure your pets will be cared for as intended.

Walking your dog is about so much more than just “potty breaks.” For your dog walks provide mental stimulation, physical exercise, chances for socialization. I can tell you that my dog Julius after a half an hour walk is a much happier pooch vs him running on a treadmill. All those smells to sniff and things to see while on the walk!

Whether you are working long hours at the office or living in a Zoom-land while working from home, you may face difficulties getting your dog exercised regularly. Julius has made several appearances on my Zoom calls this past year! During the winter months, when the days are much shorter, this becomes even more of a problem for some dog owners. And while most of us have not been traveling this last year, I know we are all looking forward to some vacation time in the near future- which means you will need a pet sitter!

I joined Krystal on one of her mid-day walks with a newer client of hers - a senior basset hound named Billy. As we walked and chatted about the business and dogs, Billy was happily strutting along and eating up all the yummy treats. Krystal started her business in 2018, after a pet sitting company she was working for closed down. While working at that company, Krystal was learning a lot about running a small business and all the things that come with that, while also doing what she is really passionate about - taking care of pets. Nowadays, Pet Kare By Krystal offers weekday dog walking, in-home dog and cat sitting, and overnight pet sitting. Krystal is experienced in caring for pets with special needs and is Cat & Dog First Aid and CPR Certified.
