• My Dog is hyper (insert adjective here- shy, nervous, reactive, little) so he will not cooperate or stay still

No worries! The majority of the dogs that come to my sessions are your everyday companions. They may or may not listen to sit or stay and that is just fine! Between my experience with dogs of various personalities and training levels and my professional camera equipment, we got this covered. However, we must discuss any concerns and possible behavior challenges during our pre-session consultation, in order to make sure the session is a pleasant experience for your dog.

  • My dog can’t be off-leash

No problem! See the photo above and then below. Poof! The leashes are gone with some magic of Photoshop!

  • Can I be in the photos too? What about my spouse and children?

Yes!  I encourage you to be in the photos too, as well as any other humans from your household.  Yes, this includes children over the age of 4.  During our pre-session consultation, we will discuss what types of images we can create during our session and whether the session will focus mainly on your dog, the relationship between you and your dog, or equal focus on both!

  • How does the process work?

First, look around this website and see if you want to work with me!  If you do or if you have questions, get in touch with me here.

Once I receive your inquiry, we will schedule a pre-session consultation.  This is an online meeting (our dogs are not the only ones who do Zoomies nowadays!)  in which we will decide the date and time of your session, the perfect location for your session, discuss all other important details and answer any questions you may have.

Please don’t worry about your dog not knowing obedience commands or being shy.  At the session, your dog’s only job is to be themselves.  Yep, that includes barking at those pesky squirrels or checking to see who else visited the park!  They don’t need to sit or stay, as my goal is to really capture their personality, so we don’t want a bunch of stiffly posed portraits.

Approximately 2 weeks after our session, we will meet online over Zoom.  In pre-pandemic times, I would come to your home…hopefully someday we can do this again!

During this viewing and ordering appointment, we will go over all of your images, choose your favorites, and finalize your order together.  Next, I will get your files finalized and send them over to the magical lab in Italy, where craftsmen will proudly create the most beautiful artwork.  My goal and hope is that each time you look at the artwork, you will remember all the special moments and all the joy and happiness you share with your pets.

  • What if I don’t live in Springfield, MA area?

No problem!  I travel for sessions throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.  Depending on the distance, travel fee may be applicable.  Other locations are available upon request.
