Bullied Breeds Rescue in partnership with Lily Raven Photography is happy to announce the 2024 New England Dogs calendar!
Proceeds from the sale of the calendar and photo contest will assist Bullied Breeds Rescue with providing veterinary care and grooming needs for dogs in their care.
We encourage you to submit your favorite photo of your pets and ask your family and friends to vote for them. Please review the Contest Rules (listed below) carefully for submission guidelines; those that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win.

Bullied Breeds Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered to rescue dogs in MA & NH. They are committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, advocating for and creating happy endings for dogs who are often discriminated against based on their breed alone.
Many of the dogs BBR strive to save are homeless, abused, neglected or simply misjudged, yet all of them deserve a second chance. Many never get that second chance because they are a breed which has been blacklisted from housing complexes, and home insurance policies and even banned from living in certain cities or states. The list of breeds who often face unfair public discrimination is long, but the top four tend to be American Pit Bull Terriers, Rottweilers, Dobermans & German Shepherds.
BBR works closely with communities and through local animal control facilities and shelters to save as many dogs as possible. Their network of volunteers, advocates and fosters work tirelessly to ensure that every dog we meet is given a chance to prove the world wrong.
Bullied Breeds Rescue operates solely on donations and the organization is 100% volunteer-driven and foster home based. This allows us to direct 100% of the rescue’s donations and fundraising proceeds to the dogs in our care.

Contest Rules
Photos that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win with no opportunity for a refund.
Rules for Entries:
Each entry is $20 USD.
Limit of one per photo entry. People are not allowed in the photos, only your pet.
The pet must be a living pet to be eligible for entry and must be your own pet (no fosters, no neighbor’s or friend’s pets)
Entry photos that include two pets will share a month if they place among the top 12 vote-getters.
All photos must be taken by yourself and digitally uploaded; printed photos will not be accepted. Copyrighted or professional photos will not be accepted.
The submission period starts on April 3, 2023, at 8 am ET, and ends on May 7, 2023, at 8 pm ET.
Contest entry fees are tax-deductible. The email acknowledgment of your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
Any photograph that includes content deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by LilyRaven Photography in its sole discretion, will be removed from the contest with no opportunity for a refund.
Posting more than one photo of your pet does not increase the chances of winning.
Winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 12 entries that receive the most votes. The same pet can only win once. Attempts to win two spots in the calendar by the same pet will not be permitted.
Rules for Voting:
Each $1 USD counts as one (1) vote. The minimum donation is $5 USD.
All donations from voting are non-refundable.
Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
Contest votes are tax-deductible. The email acknowledgment of your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of the GoGo Photo Contest whose decisions are final and binding.
The voting period starts on April 3, 2023, at 8 am ET, and ends on May 7, 2023, at 8 pm ET.
Winner Photo Sessions:
If you are unable to commit to a photo session during the specified times or find yourself unable to travel to the location, you forfeit your winnings and the next top vote-getter will take your pet’s spot in the calendar. No exceptions.
The top vote recipient will win the cover photo for the 2024 calendar and it’s own month in the calendar. The following 11 recipients with the most votes will be eligible to have their pet featured as a pet of the month.
The photographer, Lily Raven Photography will choose the best image of the pets to be used in the calendar, as well as which month that image will appear.

12 Grand Prize Winners!
12 winners will have their pet professionally photographed by Lily Raven Photography for the 2024 New England Dogs calendar and be featured as either the Cover Dog or a pet of the month.
Winners will be determined by the top 12 entrants that get the most votes, with the top winner grabbing the coveted cover photo spot!
2nd - 12th place winners will have their pet featured as a pet of the month.
Weekly Mini-Contest Winners
One pet each week who receives the highest number of new votes for a particular week will win a mini-contest prize from one of our participating sponsors. In the event of a tie for that week's most votes or if there are no new votes for that week, a random computerized drawing will be held for all eligible pets.
Session Details
The winner’s professional photoshoot includes:
A complimentary one-hour photoshoot in selected locations in Rhode Island and Massachusetts on dates to be determined in May through August 2023. (Normally $200)
Winners will receive a social media-sized photo of the chosen calendar photo. No other digital files or artwork is included but will be available for purchase.
If you are unable to commit to a photo session during those times or find yourself unable to travel to these pre-selected locations, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote-getter will take your pet's spot in the calendar, no exceptions.
